Silver Medal Lady Trojans
Team USA's Women Water Polo scored a silver medal today, falling short of gold 9-8 at the hands of the Netherlands.
Five Women of Troy were significant contributors to the team's success. Current USC junior, Kami Craig and USC graduates Patty Cardenas, Moriah Van Norman, Britanny Hayes and Lauren Wenger all played for Team USA.The current number of Trojans whom have medalled in Beijing stands at 15. That number should increase as Women's Basketball (Tina Thompson and Lisa Leslie) and Volleyball (Nicole Davis) are poised to medal.
