Trojan Rebecca Soni Silvers
The Trojans, still without a gold medal for the 200 Olympics, added a silver medal, when Rebecca Soni placed second in the 100m breastroke.
On a day when Team USA Swimmers made their mark on the Olympic record books, Soni brought home the silver medal. Soni will be favored in the 200m and may compete in the 4 x 100m medley relay.
Soni joins Alumnus Larsen Jensen as Trojans who have medalled in Beijing. Jensen captured the Bronze Medal in the 400m individual medley.
USC Olympians have garnered at least one gold medal in every summer Olympics since 1912.
