Trojans Slash Cavaliers 52-7

The Mark Sanchez Era Begins in Impressive Fashion

Before the season began, the largest question that hung over the Trojans was, 'Can Mark Sanchez Deliver?' In his first game at the helm, Sanchez emphatically answered, 'Yes!' USC's 52-7 drubbing could be a sign of big things to come for the Trojans.

Sanchez went: 26-of-35, 338 yards, 3 touchdowns, 1 interception. Impressive, indeed. Sanchez spread the field, hitting all of his receivers and handing off to a boat-load of running backs. In fact, the Trojans utilized seven running backs and passed to nine different receivers.
