USC Alumnus Earns Silver in Women's Volleyball
Nicole Davis, libero for Team USA Women's Volleyball became the 16th Trojan to earn a medal at the Beijing Olympics. While the USA fell short of the gold medal, they earned silver after losing to Brazil 1-3.
Davis was a political science major at USC. As a senior in 2003, she helped lead the Trojans to their second consecutive National Championship and an undefeated season. Davis had 1,093 total digs (3.09 digs per game average) for the Trojans.
